About Ramblegard

Ramblegard, a division of S&E CareTrade, are specialists in Fall Prevention Equipment for the Care Industry. We provide solutions for vulnerable and at-risk patients and their carers. We are currently working with NHS Trusts and Care Home Groups throughout the UK & Ireland and via a network of distributors throughout UK and Ireland.

Founded in 1996, Ramblegard prides itself not only on the quality and reliability of it’s products but also on the consistent level of excellent customer service provided by our team.

Our Product Specialists work closely with clients to ensure we provide the best possible solution for their particular needs. Full system training is provided during the installation process and following that, our dedicated aftersales team are on hand to provide ongoing training and support when required. We also carry out annual audits and provide maintenance contracts to ensure your system is fully compliant and functional, at all times.

The Story So Far

Ramblegard was founded early in 1996, having identified a need to provide a simple fall prevention solution for those caring for the aged and infirm.

Later that year, the flagship ‘Floorgard’ system was launched with its simple reliability, which enjoyed widespread success, and was the foundation on which Ramblegard is now established as a reputable player in the marketplace.

The Ramblegard brand is not just about quality products, it's also about long-term commitment and service provision to our clients.

Ramblegard has embraced the benefits of many exciting new technologies as its product range has evolved.

Our systems are modular, standalone, wireless ward solutions, not reliant on Wi-Fi or any form of connection to hospital servers or systems. With various sensor options including pressure, proximity, velocity and infrared devices to create a unique and complete range, providing solutions to many falls management and patient monitoring issues that arise in care environments daily.

With a dedicated R&D team, our product portfolio is constantly under review. By listening closely to our clients and distribution partners, and reacting to their challenges and changing needs, we can ensure our products remain at the forefront in the marketplace.

Our commitment at Ramblegard is to deliver user-friendly products, preconfigured to your individual requirements, be that for a single patient or a busy ward environment, we can provide a bespoke solution. Our dedicated technicians take components sourced from both here in Northern Ireland and further afield and assemble and program our modular systems to suit your need, whether that's a door-to-door single delivery or a fully supported system installation.
